On the night of the 28th of January, the Leiria region in central Portugal was hit by Storm Kristin, with winds reaching 150 km/h. The storm left a trail of destruction, with tragic consequences for the region, industry, and, above all, people. Far too many families saw their homes destroyed or left uninhabitable, and many people lost their jobs. At the moment, there is no sign of the weather easing, and now more than ever, these people need help.
Help has been arriving thanks to the work of many volunteers who have come together to support those who need it most.
